Whatever your views on George Galloway, his appearance before the U.S. Senate sub-committee on investigations into the Oil-for-Food scandal on Tuesday, May 17, 2005 contained a powerful speech and was definitely one of the more entertaining pieces of television in recent years, with the New York Post summing it up tabloid-style in the headline “BRIT FRIES SENATORS IN OIL”.
