Camera Armor

Photographer Chris Titmus points out in this Lightstalkers thread a new piece of kit to protect your digital prosumer SLR. Dubbed “Camera Armor” it appears to be a protective custom-moulded rubber casing for various prosumer SLRs, but not your EOS 1D or Nikon D2X types. The company website also lists similar “Lens Armor” and a heavy-duty camera strap that doesn’t look too bad. The site has more pictures and a FAQ page.
Can’t really see this being of use for most photographers, and if you really needed to throw your camera around you’d be better off with a metal-chassis high-end model, but perhaps it could be useful for certain situations… and perhaps the rubber dampens the noise which might find a use in court scenarios.
