		<description>It&#039;s not generally advertised because most consumers only think about the megapixels. But if you look at a site like Digital Photography Review - http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/specs.asp - they list the sensor size, and more usefully the pixel pitch (i.e. size of each pixel).</description>
